In addition to the story behind the numbers, there is often a person or company behind those numbers. Hard facts or human interest, perhaps a company history or a touching addition to your staff magazine.

research
You need a paper or article that requires thorough research? Literature or archival research, internet searches, or expert opinions? I'll get into it for you.
In-depth research doesn't scare me off either. As a PhD Student, I did research in economic history and also worked as a researcher and journalist for several years.
